You’ve taken care of everyone else. Now what about you? Come enjoy a nourishing reset that feels like a hug for your soul.
Close your eyes. Imagine a mountain alive with light. Citrusy herbs in the air. The bubble of a stream nearby. A path that invites you to pause and remember who you are.
That’s the spirit of Soul Toll, and the experience we’re bringing to The Yoga Loft.
This 90-minute workshop is designed as a seamless journey — weaving together movement to ground you, writing prompts to spark insight, and moments to reconnect with yourself. With Kristan Marden leading the yoga flow and author Anusia Gillespie guiding reflection inspired by the vivid world of Resonance in her novel Soul Toll, you’ll move through an experience that engages both body and soul.
You’ll leave feeling recentered with renewed energy and with a signed copy of Soul Toll to carry the experience home.
The goal is simple: to leave you with something real and lasting. Not abstract inspiration, but insights you can carry with you.
No yoga experience necessary.
Reserve your spot now — and step into Resonance.
About Kristan Marden:
Kristan grew up in Marblehead and lives there now with her husband and three children. After graduating college with a degree in exercise science and then working in the fitness industry as a Wellness Specialist, she was naturally drawn to yoga. Kristan is a Yoga Alliance 500 ERYT, YACEP. In 2018, she completed her 300 hour teacher certification at Down Under School of Yoga in Brookline, MA with Natasha Rizopoulos. In 2012, she completed her 200 hour teacher certification at Empower Yoga in Beverly, MA. Kristan also completed Jason Crandall’s Essentials of Yoga Anatomy and The Art of Yoga Sequencing courses. In 2015, Kristan participated in Judith Lasater’s Experiential Yoga Anatomy course.
About Anusia Gillespie:
Anusia is a Marblehead native and debut novelist whose work explores ambition, identity, and the choices that shape our lives. After a personal awakening in 2015, she stepped away from a traditional career in law to create a path that felt more true to who she was—one that led her to write Soul Toll, a contemporary fantasy about what it takes to return to yourself.
Anusia holds a BSM from Tulane and both a JD and MBA from Boston College. She is a 200-hour certified yoga teacher and has trained in adult learning and transformation through her work in executive education at Harvard Law School. Her background blends structured thinking with reflective practice, and she brings that combination into her teaching and writing.
Anusia now works as a legal technology executive focused on transformation and she lives in Marblehead with her husband and young son. She believes that meaningful change doesn’t always require a big leap, just an honest look at where you are and a willingness to listen to what’s next.
