What About You?
Sunday, September 28, 2025
3:00 - 4:30 PM
$35 | with Kristan and Anusia
You’ve taken care of everyone else. Now what about you? Come reset with us.
This hybrid workshop begins with a grounding all levels yoga flow led by Kristan Marden, followed by a guided reflection session with author Anusia Gillespie.
With your body open and your mind clear, you’ll be invited to tune in—exploring what’s been tugging at your attention, where you feel most like yourself, and how to carry that clarity into the season ahead.
You’ll leave feeling recentered with renewed energy, and with a gift copy of Soul Toll, the novel that inspired this experience.
Grounding movement. Guided reflection.
A nourishing reset that feels like a hug for your soul.
Anusia helps us investigate the courage to pave your own path in a world that's telling you who to be.
She will guide participants through a structured, reflective session using simple tools to help them explore:
→ Where they are on their path
→ Whether they’ve been choosing comfort or alignment
→ How that’s showing up in their energy and sense of direction
→ And what personal signal or idea keeps coming up, asking for their attention
The format will include prompts, light self-assessments, and journaling—designed to be engaging and accessible. I’ll be drawing on my background in adult learning from my work with Harvard Law School Executive Education and in day job to make sure the session is both meaningful and well-supported.
The goal is to leave participants with clear insights they can carry with them—not abstract inspiration, but something real and useful.
All participants will receive a signed copy of Anusia's book, Soul Toll.
(No yoga experience necessary).
About Kristan Marden:
Kristan grew up in Marblehead and lives there now with her husband and three children. After graduating college with a degree in exercise science and then working in the fitness industry as a Wellness Specialist, she was naturally drawn to yoga. Kristan is a Yoga Alliance 500 ERYT, YACEP. In 2018, she completed her 300 hour teacher certification at Down Under School of Yoga in Brookline, MA with Natasha Rizopoulos. In 2012, she completed her 200 hour teacher certification at Empower Yoga in Beverly, MA. Kristan also completed Jason Crandall’s Essentials of Yoga Anatomy and The Art of Yoga Sequencing courses. In 2015, Kristan participated in Judith Lasater’s Experiential Yoga Anatomy course.
About Anusia Gillespie:
Anusia is a Marblehead native and debut novelist whose work explores ambition, identity, and the choices that shape our lives. After a personal awakening in 2015, she stepped away from a traditional career in law to create a path that felt more true to who she was—one that led her to write Soul Toll, a contemporary fantasy about what it takes to return to yourself.
Anusia holds a BSM from Tulane and both a JD and MBA from Boston College. She is a 200-hour certified yoga teacher and has trained in adult learning and transformation through her work in executive education at Harvard Law School. Her background blends structured thinking with reflective practice, and she brings that combination into her teaching and writing.
Anusia now works as a legal technology executive focused on transformation and she lives in Marblehead with her husband and young son. She believes that meaningful change doesn’t always require a big leap, just an honest look at where you are and a willingness to listen to what’s next.
