Health Practices 

  • STAY HOME: If you exhibit cold or flu-like symptoms such as fever, cough, shortness of breath or breathing difficulties or a rise in temperature, or simply do not feel well. 

  • PROPS: We encourage members to bring their own mats and props as much as possible.

  • CLEANING/SANITIZATION: We strive to keep our studio germ-free by cleaning and sanitizing countertops, door handles, bathroom fixtures, yoga floors, and frequently touched areas every day. A professional cleaning occurs three times per week.

  • AIR CIRCULATION: Masks are optional.  We installed the GPS-FC24-AC from Global Plasma Solutions - an ion air purifying device, proven to reduce airborne illnesses. We also installed a Surgically Clean Air SCA5000 Jade unit. Medical grade air purification with powerful UV-C light for germ and virus kill to help keep you healthy, capture aerosols, chemicals, VOCs and odors, all while re-energizing the air with negative ions. 

Reservations

  • All class reservations must be made online. Reservations may also be made in-studio or over the phone on a first-come, first-served basis. 

Studio Environment

  • Please respect the quiet, tranquil space of the upstairs studio. 

  • Only mats, water, props, and extra clothing are permitted upstairs.

  • Phones and electronics are requested to stay downstairs with other personal belongings.

  • A staff member is always in the lobby or the door is locked. The Yoga Loft Marblehead is not responsible for any personal items left behind at the studio.

Studio Late Policy

  • To protect the integrity of our classes and member experience, we have a 5-minute grace period. This policy serves both members and teachers. The first few minutes of each class are used to set the intention and prepare your body for meaningful and safe practice. The 5-minute grace period is extended to accommodate members upon last-minute arrival before the class is closed. Should you arrive at class 5 minutes after the start time, you will not be allowed in.

Early Departure

  • Should a member need to leave class early, please inform the teacher beforehand and position the mat at the back of the room. Please leave before savasana begins.

Class Cancellations

  • Early Cancel: Cancellation may be made 2 hours prior to the start of class via the MindBody app with no penalty or by contacting the studio.

    • To cancel your reservation, sign in to your MindBody account using your login and password. Under the "My Info" tab you will find "My Schedule" and a "Cancel" button next to your reserved class.

  • Late Cancel: Cancellations made for in-studio classes after the 2-hour window will result in the loss of the class. 

  • No shows

    • No show for a drop-in will automatically lose the class

    • No show for a class pack member will lose the class

    • No show for a monthly member will incur a $10 fee after one notification

  • Mindbody 

    • Note* - Class cancellations must be made 2 hours prior to the start of class. Please cancel 2 hours prior to avoid a cancellation fee. Monthly Members who fail to cancel class reservations and do not show up will be subject to a $10 cancellation fee. All other clients who fail to cancel class reservations will forfeit the class. 

Class Package Expirations

  • Class packages have a 6-month expiration date from the first visit.

  • In the event that a medical freeze is necessary, the studio must be informed via email or in person before the expiration date. 

  • A medical freeze is considered a suspension of the package. Meaning, the duration of time between the freeze date and expiration date will be the exact amount of time available upon reactivating the class package. 

  • Class Package expiration extensions:

    • If the class pack was sold within the calendar year

    • If it has not yet expired and is a proactive request for extension

    • If someone has been really sick or injured

    • If management evaluates and agrees- we will add 1 month extension

New Member Special

  • Clients must be new to the studio. No previous weekly classes (workshops are ok). 

  • 30 day expiration cannot be extended for any reason. This is a trial period. 

  • NMS cannot be transferred or shared between clients. NMS is individual to the purchaser. 

Age Limit 

  • The Yoga Loft welcomes yogis 10 years old or older unless they are part of the Kids program. Yogis under the age of 10 will be considered on a case-by-case basis and at the discretion of the teacher teaching the class.

  • Yogis under the age of 16 are not permitted to practice hot yoga (more than 90 degrees).

Refunds

  • There are no cash refunds for any classes,  memberships, or workshops unless the studio is responsible for changing, rescheduling, or canceling a class or workshop.  

  • Studio Credit will be issued for class cancellations made more than 2 hours prior to the start of class. 

  • Workshop Refund Policy: Full payment is required to reserve a space in workshops. All workshops are non-refundable. Due to limited space and high demand for some workshops, we have a 24-hour cancellation policy. Cancellations made more than 24 hours in advance will be issued studio credit. No credit will be given for cancellations made less than 24 hours.
