Mudra - Sacred Yogic Seal Practice - Reveals the magical medicine in your hands.
This workshop explores the yogic science and spiritual essence of Shakti through the beautiful use of Mudras. Mudras are also known as Yogic ‘seals’, or hand gestures. The Spiritual technology of Mudras, has been used for hundreds and possibly thousands of years originating in the Yogic Schools of India. The hands are made into specific shapes using the fingers and palms. Mudras work by directing ‘Prana’ life-force or vital energy, through the nadis (network of channels), to various parts of the body, subtle body, energy centers and the brain. In this workshop we explore how the energy of the 5 elements, Fire, Air, Ether, Earth and Water connects through the fingers to the subtle body to achieve well-being.
Mudra practice is a self-care tool to easily re-balance the subtle body, and can be especially useful for Yoga Teachers, Healers, Intuitives and Mediums. Learn how Shakti / Spirit utilizes Mudra as a tool for healing, and how the enlivened Shakti works spontaneously to regulate the body in a unique demonstration of Trance Healing.
About Gurdeep:
Gurdeep is a Marblehead based yoga teacher specializing in flow, restorative and gentle yoga. She graduated from The Yoga Loft Teacher Training Program in 2017 under Larisa Forman and Vito Politano. She studied Restorative Yoga with Jillian Pransky in NY. Her teachings are deeply rooted in tradition with a modern day understanding of anatomy, physical fitness and alignment. Gurdeep believes strongly in incorporating meditation and breath work in her teachings, creating a full experience for the body and the soul. Gurdeep is a Reiki Master Teacher and Intuitive Medium with a deep connection to spiritual practice. Creating a holistic approach, Gurdeep brings a healing intention to all of her sharings - yoga, reiki and mediumship.

Full payment is required to reserve a space in workshops. All workshops are non-refundable. Due to limited space and high demand for some workshops we have a 24 hour cancelation policy. Cancelations made more than 24 hours in advance will be issued studio credit. No credit will be given for cancelations made less than 24 hours.
