Herbs and Practices for the Heart Space

What you can expect from this workshop:
•A brief physiology of the human heart as well as a the energy physiology of the heart
•The historical significance of the heart and heart space in other traditions as well as how we think about it in current Western culture
•Practice meditations and rituals to heal ailments of the heart; grief, loss, overwhelm as well as the positive emotions of the heart; intuition, love and connection
•Sampling and talking about herbal remedies that support all of these aspects and how they can be used in everyday life
About Emily:
I Am Emily Munce, LMHC and Herbalist.
I am a therapist trained in Holistic Counseling. I am a relationship builder, a holder of great spaces and a change facilitator. I work with people who long to feel valued, heard and understood but who feel buried under the weight of their fears and past experiences. I have almost two decades of experience working with women and men who struggle with anxiety, depression, relationship issues or a negative relationship with their bodies. I have studied Holistic and Spiritual Counseling, Mindfulness Practices, Internal Family Systems, Somatic Practices, Intersectional Feminist Theory and Narrative Therapy. I have also studied herbal medicine for several years. It is my view that healing is truly “holistic” encompassing people as their whole; body mind and spirit. I know from my own struggles that self-compassion is innately held in the body and can be a path to great healing. I believe that every person—no matter their life story, identity, or beliefs about themselves—deserves the opportunity to experience a full life.
Workshop Refund Policy:
Full payment is required to reserve a space in workshops. All workshops are non-refundable. Due to limited space and high demand for some workshops we have a 24 hour cancelation policy. Cancelations made more than 24 hours in advance will be issued studio credit. No credit will be given for cancelations made less than 24 hours.
