EnTrance: Dreaming with the Unseen: A Solstice Ceremony and Mini Retreat
Sunday, December 21, 2025
2:30 - 4:30 PM
$55 | with Gurdeep and Rachael
Join Gurdeep and Rachael for a ceremony and retreat that draws on the powerful portal of the winter solstice that occurs this year on Sunday, December 21st. The Winter Solstice is the longest and darkest day of the year, and a time when the sun appears to "stand still" before returning back to light.
During this workshop we will draw on the sacred wisdom of the solstice as a portal to retreat inward. We will utilize supportive practices and guidance to invite a connection to the imaginal realm where we "dream with the unseen," to spark creativity, meaning and purpose.
Includes:
•Creating a Dream Altar together as a group
•Using voice and vibration through mantra •Gentle breathwork to explore deepening states of awareness
•A grounding Yin practice focused on nourishing the kidneys and working with the element of water
•Trance meditation and healing
•Restorative postures & Yoga Nidra accompanied by gentle sounds
•A group poem
•Candle lighting with intentions

About Rachael Duda Maitland:
Rachael stumbled on a yoga class while living in NYC and working in the hustle of the fashion industry. In a small studio in the East Village, she found peace and refuge, and began the journey back home to her heart. For over a decade she has been dedicated to the path of yoga as a teacher and student. She values yoga as a platform to bring us back into connection with our purpose and service in this world. Rachael began teaching yoga on the island of Puerto Rico in 2008 after completing a 200-hr training with Ashtanga Yoga Puerto Rico. In 2009 she began studying Prana Vinyasa with her teacher, Shiva Rea. She loves the rhythm of vinyasa that brings us to resonance and relationship with the diversity of all that we are, and all that we are a part of. She has refined her skill and knowledge with over 500 hours of training. She weaves this with her experience as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, Reiki and Polarity Practitioner, and as a mystic of the heart.
