Teen Yoga offers a fun, supportive class that stretches and strengthens the body through dynamic yoga poses. This class brings greater balance and peace to a young person's mind and spirit through calming, nourishing, restorative poses.
About Your Teacher
Maddie Acosta - Maddie’s style of teaching lends its self to light-hearted exploration, highlighting strong poses and stronger playlists. As a Youth Fitness Specialist and Teen Yoga Instructor, Maddie combines a knowledge of anatomy and physiology with a background in youth development to create a class that is a careful balance of challenge and relaxation. Her practice is rooted in the belief that the music creates the vibe, and the vibe creates the flow. Maddie is a 2017 graduate of the Yoga Loft Teacher Training Program and also holds certifications from the American Council on Exercise in Group Fitness and Youth Fitness. “You were once wild here.
