Christina DeLuca and The Yoga Loft are very excited to host a 6-week series dedicated to the movement of prenatal yoga. Enjoy the benefits of yoga throughout your entire pregnancy. Connect to your baby and find comfort in your body through, breath, yoga poses and fluid movements. Using techniques to help prepare your body for labor. All levels of yogis welcome to this fun and nurturing class.
About Your Teacher: Christina DeLuca
Christina started practicing yoga in 2008 while living in the Boston area. The physical practice was what originally kept her coming back to her mat, but soon after she realized there was much more to her practice than just moving her body. She found mindfulness in yoga that she could not find anywhere else in her life.
After attending many classes and workshops she decided to get her 200-hour certification through Prana Power Yoga in 2011. Before moving to the north shore she had taught at multiple studios in the greater Boston area and successfully managed one of those studios.
She practiced and instructed yoga through the pregnancies of her two daughters and went on to get her certification in prenatal yoga through OM Births. Christina also has her Reiki 1 certification under Jene Rossi, has done on one trainings with Alex Amorosi, and restful yoga training with Sandy Kalik.
She loves teaching a strong, mindful and playful flow in both her traditional and prenatal classes.
