Steps:

  1. Starting in tabletop, step the left leg straight back and sweep it out to the left side. Planting the sole of the left foot to the earth. 

  2. Lifting the torso up to vertical, with arms stretched towards the sky, form a ā€˜Vā€™ like formation with the arms. 

  3. Variation: Reaching the left arm down the to the left leg and stretching the right palm up and over to the left for a side body stretch. 

  4. Variation: Tent the right fingertips to the ground outside the right knee. Reaching the left palm up and over to the right. 

  5. Repeat on the opposite side.

Props:

Padding for the knees.

Benefits:
