New Spring Schedule Now In Effect

In an attempt to coax Spring into finally coming, we are unveiling our New Spring Yoga Schedule :)

 

The new schedule is available at the studio on green card stock, and is now current on-line.

Yoga for Runners Workshop w/Maida

Saturday, April 4th   ~  3:00 – 5:00 pm

This workshop will help runners of all levels bring balance, strength and flexibility to help reduce common overuse injuries and promote a holistic approach to training.  Maida has run The Boston Marathon ten times, giving her unique perspective of both the physical and mental components of running.

Special alignment and sequences will be offered that focus on the typical “problem” areas. Participants will also explore the meditative quality of yoga and how it can help prepare for competition or races.

No prior yoga experience needed. High school and college athletes encouraged!

This workshop is helpful for anyone seeking to

balance and enhance their training!

Deep Stretch Workshop

Vito's Deep Stretch Workshop fuses active and resistant stretching and ball rolling, along with more passive yin and restorative stretching to get deep into muscles and connective tissue. This is a great opportunity for athletes, as well as all those who simply need a good stretch, to release tension and stress while building flexibility. Special attention will be paid to the neck and shoulders, hamstrings, hips, quads and lower back. The benefit of this work will be to relieve tension created from workout endeavors as well as time spent sitting behind a desk. Yogis, runners, skiers, cyclers, bootcampers, and barre practitioners will all benefit greatly from this important investment. Class size is limited to make use of the wall space and to maximize attention for optimal therapeutic effect. Class includes an optional assisted savasana.

If you are looking to feel more openness, ease and freedom in your body, this workshop is for you !

In an effort to simplify the front desk check-in process, and as a way to encourage folks to branch out and try new classes/instructors, we are thrilled to continue our VERY economical Monthly Unlimited Membership for $99 per month.

It is set up as an automatic monthly charge to a credit card, and allows you to take unlimited regularly scheduled classes. There is a 4 consecutive month minimum requirement. If you are currently taking 2 or more classes a week, this $99 monthly membership should save you money.
