Please join us as Caitlin Marcoux, a Nantucket-based senior Prana Vinyasa® yoga teacher, leaves "The Rock" to guest instruct TWO classes with us.
Catilin can be summed up in one word: AMAZING!!! Read her bio at the bottom, and we also encourage you to click on her website to watch the opening video of her practicing ... you will likely be in awe.
As a recent breast cancer survivor, Caitlin will guide you through mantra, mudra and movement alchemy featuring circular movements to open a connection to our innate cellular intelligence. Fluid circular movement invokes spanda and the element of water which is believed to purify and nourish allowing energy to flow in the physical and somatic body. This practice honors the wounds within us all, and will inspire you to be an agent of change with vitality and hope. Yogis of all levels are welcome to this workshop.
Prana Vinyasa® is an energetic, creative, full-spectrum approach to embodying the flow of yoga cultivated by Shiva Rea and the Global Vinyasa Collective of Teachers. Students of all levels are empowered to experience prana - the universal source of breath, life-energy and conscious intelligence - as the navigating source of yoga practice and vital living. Practitioners learn classical and innovative approaches to vinyasa yoga and the state of flow drawn from Krishnamacharya's teachings, Tantra, Ayurveda, Bhakti, Somatics and Shiva's teaching experience from the last fifteen years.

Her writing has been published on elephant journal and RebelleSociety.com. You can read excerpts from those pieces here and on her blog.
In 2014 Caitlin opened Nantucket’s only floating yoga studio: Paddle Nantucket, which offers an array of SUP Yoga classes as well as private and semi-private PaddleFit coaching on the calm waters of Nantucket’s north shore. You can find her teaching weekly yoga and indoor cycling classes for members of The Westmoor Club
