Join Yoga Loft instructors Maida Broudo and Andrew Squier for an afternoon workshop dedicated to learning the foundations of yoga. Whether you attend this class to refresh your skills or are stepping on to the mat for the first time, this is an opportunity to experience the ancient practice through meditation, breath work (pranayama), and basic poses (asana). Some philosophical principles will be discussed, to help understand the benefits of the practice.
There will be a focus on how each pose opens the body, and specific alignment cues will help new and returning students alike, to optimize their experience of the practice. Props will be used along with modifications for all poses. This class is open to all levels; we are all beginners, every day.

The connection of the mind, body, and spirit is vital, and taking time to devote oneself to yoga offers rewards on and off the mat. Read More Here
