The Yoga Loft Storybook: Linda & Forrest Rodts

Why/When/Where did you start practicing yoga?
We had been talking about getting into yoga for a few years when we ran into a friend who said his wife was just starting to teach at The Yoga Loft and that we should try it. Deanna Grinnell was our first yogi and it immediately spoke to us. Hilary soon took over the class and we love her style as well.

How has yoga changed/influenced your life?
It is the perfect compliment to our regular workouts at the gym and boot camp. Those are great for cardio and strength, but we want to maintain our flexibility and core strength which yoga provides. We can feel our strength and flexibility increasing, but it also helps us to slow down and leave our day-to-day troubles behind for a bit to find more introspection and peace.

What has been your experience practicing at The Yoga Loft?
The Yoga Loft has become a part of our weekend routine that we really look forward to. We are hoping to add more classes to our week because we can feel what is is doing for both our physical and mental wellbeing.
