Lisa considers herself to be a perpetual student of yoga who loves to share her passion. Recently leaving the corporate world behind, Lisa has shifted her focus to being a full time teacher and practitioner of Yoga. She completed her 200 hour certification with Yoga Spirit Studios and Level I PranaVayu training with David Magone. Lisa’s classes are lighthearted, fun, and place a strong emphasis on linking breath to movement. She combines thoughtful sequencing with playful poses and eclectic playlists. When Lisa is not teaching yoga, you will likely find her horseback riding on the trails of North Shore.
Class with Lisa
Lisa’s classes are highly influenced by her PranaVayu Yoga traning. PranaVayu is characterized by a system of skeletal alignment and Buddhist-inspired techniques for cultivating mental awareness and peace. Classes include pranayama, and a full warm-up and cool-down cycle designed to enhance flexibility and muscle recovery. She incorporates a fully planned sequence of poses strategically designed to focus on all important ranges of motion, and includes guided meditation in savasana.
