200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training
with Larisa Forman and Vito Politano

Aspiring yoga instructors and dedicated yoga practitioners
are invited to join two of Boston’s leading yoga teachers
for this special personal growth and development opportunity.
Over 10 weekends, you will gain a deeper understanding of your personal practice, the path of yoga, and the skills to effectively share it with others. The programming meets The Yoga Alliance 200-RYT (Registered Yoga Teacher) standards but far exceeds the requirements. Graduates of this Teacher Training are automatically eligible to register as a RYT with The Yoga Alliance. 200-hour certification will be granted upon satisfactory completion of all assignments. All classes will be personally taught by Larisa and Vito. Additional faculty is brought in to cover special topics such as pre-natal yoga, advanced pranayama and meditation techniques.

Among the many unique and valuable experiences of this teacher training, you will have a real life, hands-on teaching opportunities at The Yoga Loft through its Community Yoga class. A closed Facebook group will also be established where you can remain in close contact with your teachers and fellow Sadhakas,

Fridays 7 – 10 pm
Saturdays 12:15 – 7:45 pm
Sundays 11:45 – 7:15 pm
- Tuition includes a complete training manual; required reading books (est. $100-$120), meals and transportation are your responsibility

- A minimum of 6 months practice with either Larisa Forman and/or Vito Politano
- We hope you are free of major physical injuries going into the program. Minor injuries will be discussed during the initial interview and the decision will be made by your teachers.

About Your Instructors:
Larisa and Vito have 20 years of combined yoga teaching experience in Boston.
Larisa Forman holds a coveted 600H Life of a Yogi Degree with her beloved Guru Sri Dharma Mittra in NYC. Other certifications include 200 PranaVayu Yoga TT with David Magone, a self realization immersion with Sri Yogi Andrey Ram Om, Sanskrit studies with Anthony Cerulli, The Yoga Sutras and Bhagavad Gita Studies with American Indologist Edwin Francis Bryant, PH.D, Yoga for Breast Cancer Recovery and Beyond Teacher Training with Camille Kittrell, M.S, Lebed Method certification with Sherry Lebed Davis, at Dana-Farber, Boston, Ma, Multiple hundreds of hours of immersions, retreats, workshops with leading yoga teachers nationally and internationally. Larisa assisted David Magone, founder of PranaVayu Yoga in teacher trainings, mentorship programs, accelerated module asana practices. Larisa continues her education with master Yoga teacher Konstantin Bazarov, Krishna Das and Sharon Salztberg. Larisa was recognized as a yoga teacher for The Ultimate Day of Wellness in Boston by Well and Good NYC. Larisa is a founder of Yoga Live, she leads workshops and teaches an extensive schedule at all the leading Boston yoga studios and is a presenter at The Nantucket Yoga Festival
Vito Politano holds the prestigious 500 Level with Natasha Rizopoulos and also Barbara Benagh through Down Under Yoga. Vito’s 200 hour trainings include study with Natasha Rizopoulos in the YogaWorks method and assisting David Magone in the Pranavayu method. Additional trainings with Judith Hanson Lasater(Alignment/Physiology, Restorative and Low Back and SI), Tias Little (Prajna Yoga), Elise Browning Miller (Yoga for Scoliosis), Ana Forrest (Teacher Intensive) , Seane Corn (Vinyasa Training), and Marc St.Pierre (Anusara Immersion I). Additional Anatomy, Physiology and Therapeutics trainings with Julie Gudmestad, Ellen Heed, Roger Cole, Santosh Karmacharya, Doug Keller and Tom Meyers.
Vito trained in Thai Yoga Massage with Shai Plonski through Still Light Centre and the Lotus Palm School and initiated Craniosacral Therapy training with Kate Peck to better understand the body and provide a deeper level of healing.
Vito is excited to offer his own Yoga Teacher Training in partnership with well respected friend and teacher Larisa through the Yoga Loft of Marblehead starting Fall 2016. Vito also teaches and mentors students in Yoga Teacher Trainings through Yoga Works, Barre & Soul, and previously through Charlestown Yoga and B Yoga. Vito was named a Lululemon Ambassador in 2012.

What should I expect from the initial interview?
In a friendly environment we will discuss your goals and expectations, your intentions and motivation.
Do I have to have an advanced yoga practice?
No. This teacher training is designed for everyone. We do ask that you maintain a regular yoga practice.
Is there an age requirement?
Anyone enrolled in high school on the first day of teacher training will be considered for an interview. There is no age limit.
Will I be able to teach at the Yoga Loft after I graduate?
You will have an opportunity to teach/assist within The Yoga Loft Community Class during your Teacher Training. Upon successful graduation we encourage you to apply to be considered for teaching positions. There is no guarantee of placement, but we will keep your resume for consideration as soon as new classes become open.
What are the attendance requirements?
We expect 100% attendance, your full focus and commitment to this process.
