Meditation is a portal to our true selves. It helps clear the mental noise that interferes with our connecting optimally to ourselves, others, and the world around us. In this 5-week series, drawing on the principles of mindfulness-based stress reduction, we will use guided meditation to rediscover centeredness, balance, and equanimity in our minds and emotions. Each week’s 45-minute meditation will immerse you in a new level of self-discovery:

Your Meditation Guides:
Violaine Gueritault, Ph.D. in psychology, is an expert in stress management and burnout prevention. Her prestigious career as a clinical therapist and international consultant to large corporations is now devoted to the Marblehead community. Two years ago, she created a mindfulness-based stress reduction program for students and teachers at Marblehead High School, which is now expanding to other schools in the district. Sarah Oliver, Yoga Loft team member and recent graduate of Marblehead High School, completed a 6-week internship with Violaine that culminated in a series of original guided meditations that she brought to students through their wellness classes. Sarah’s commitment and initiative has led to this meditation series being brought to the Yoga Loft community.
