Restorative Yoga Workshop with Angela

With the business of the holidays behind us, the New Year offers a unique opportunity to renew ourselves. The winter holidays are both a beautiful and taxing time of year, which often leave us feeling depleted. Restorative yoga is a therapeutic style of yoga that focuses on relaxing the body in supported postures for an extended time, allowing the body an opportunity to renew. This style of Yoga calms the central nervous system, boosts the immune system and encourages the muscles to fully release.  

This candlelit Restorative Workshop will begin with soulful, relaxing music and a reclined, guided meditation to awaken the subtle body chakras and their healing power. The grounding practice will include gentle hip and shoulder openers to release stress and welcome ease. A long, meditative shavasana will then draw us into a complete restful state. We revive for a new year and are transformed by self-love. Suitable for all and no experience is necessary.
