Samantha’s journey into yoga began several years ago while looking for a new way to challenge her physical body. One vinyasa class later, it was clear she had found the challenge she wanted. As she continued to attend classes, she felt stronger and more flexible, just as she had expected—but what she didn’t anticipate were the mind-body connections found on the mat. It was then she began to understand that yoga was not just a physical practice, but a practice of self.
Samantha’s quality of life had been so remarkably improved with the addition of yoga, she made the decision to become a teacher of the practice in order to share her passion and improve the lives of those in her class. In early 2016, she completed her 200HR Teacher Training at South Boston Yoga with David Vendetti and Todd Skoglund.
Class with Samantha
Samantha’s classes are inspired by her trainings and her students, focusing on smart sequencing and linking breath to movement. Her intention is to share the all-encompassing benefits that stem from a consistent yoga practice. She loves to keep a light and joyful attitude in the practice and aims to have her students leave feeling energized, empowered and open.
Beginning with the 2016 Fall Schedule, Samantha will be teaching Community Yoga on Sunday nights from 6:00 - 7:00 pm.
