Marina’s yoga journey started in her teens, meditating with her parents, who planted the first precious yogic seed. Years later, a gift card given by a close friend introduced her to the transformational practice of Vinyasa Flow yoga. Since 2006, the mat has been Marina’s second home!

Marina believes a yoga teacher must always carry the freshness and curiosity of a student, so continually learning from other masters is part of her yogic growth. 

Marina holds her 500-hour teacher training certification. In 2012, she completed the 200hr training through YogaWorks method, and in 2015 the 300hr training with Natasha Rizopoulos and Barbara Benagh, among other outstanding instructors. She loves to participate in diverse yoga retreats around the world; in April 2016, she traveled to Montezuma, Costa Rica, where she learned yoga postures unique to Costa Rican culture.

Marina rejoices in sharing her passion, the gift of yoga, with others. Her favorite posture is headstand: you ground to rise up, you are calm in the mind and active through the body to balance your beautiful being all the way up! In the words of Sri K. Pattabhi Jois “Practice and all is coming”. 

Besides teaching yoga, Marina is a nature explorer; her last hike was to the peak of Mount Washington!

Marina’s classes are inspired by her many trainings and the YogaWorks method, which focus on moving mindfully with attention to the breath and alignment. She teaches an invigorating flow always creating space for self study and reflection - Svadhyaya . There is also room for modifications and use of props. Her goal is to provide students with a class that empowers and heals body, mind, and spirit. Namaste!
